We understand because
we've been there.

As a husband, father, and businessman, I've seen firsthand the importance of financial education. Income is not enough. It's what we do with that income—and how we protect it—that permanently affects our families.

Through wisdom from very good people and our own learning journey, my wife Carrie and I both became licensed financial professionals. Not to sell products, but to share the truth about financial stewardship and security.

We help families build real financial plans—to protect what matters most, build wealth that lasts, and leave a legacy for generations to come.

Most People Don't Have
a Real Financial Plan

They have good intentions, a 401(k) from work, maybe some term life insurance. But when we sit down and walk through the numbers together, most families discover critical gaps they didn't know existed.

1

Protection Gaps

What happens to your family if something happens to you? Most people are dramatically underinsured—or have the wrong kind of coverage entirely.

2

Retirement Uncertainty

Will your 401(k) actually be enough? Are you paying too much in fees? What about taxes in retirement? Most people don't know the real numbers.

3

Wealth Transfer

Building wealth is one thing. Passing it on efficiently is another. Without proper planning, taxes and fees can destroy generational wealth.

The Daniel Family Difference

We're not here to sell you something you don't need. We're here to educate, guide, and serve—the way we'd want someone to treat our own family.

Zero pressure. You'll never feel rushed, manipulated, or pushed into a decision. We take the time to explain everything in plain language.

Strong principles. We approach financial planning with integrity and values that align with what matters most to families.

Family-centered. Carrie and I work together as a team. You're not just getting an agent—you're getting a family that understands yours.

Education first. We teach you how this stuff actually works so you can make informed decisions. Knowledge is power.

Comprehensive planning. We look at the whole picture—protection, retirement, debt, wealth transfer, and tax efficiency—not just one product.

Understanding Your Options

The financial decisions that matter most—explained clearly and practically.

Protection First: Before building wealth, protect your ability to earn. Life insurance, disability coverage, and emergency funds create a foundation that can't collapse when life happens unexpectedly.

How Much Life Insurance You Actually Need: Use the DIME method—Debt + Income (×10-15 years) + Mortgage + Education costs. Most families need 15-20× their annual income, not the 5-7× old rule suggests.

Tax Diversification Matters: Don't put all your retirement money in one tax treatment. Have traditional (tax-deferred), Roth (tax-free), and permanent life insurance (tax-free access) so you control the tax outcome.

The 401(k) Tax Bomb: A $1M traditional 401(k) isn't really $1M—it's $750k after taxes at a 25% rate. If tax rates rise, you keep even less. Start building tax-free buckets now.

Whole Life vs IUL: Whole life offers guaranteed growth with zero market risk. IUL offers market-linked returns with a 0% floor. Both build tax-free retirement income—the right choice depends on your timeline and risk tolerance.

Avoid Probate: Without a trust, your estate goes through 6-18 months of court proceedings costing 3-7% of everything you own. A revocable living trust avoids all of that—assets transfer immediately and privately.

Debt Elimination Strategy: Pay off bad debt (credit cards, consumer loans) aggressively. Use good debt (mortgages on appreciating assets) strategically. Adding just $200/month extra to your mortgage principal can save $60,000+ in interest.

Beneficiary Mistakes Cost Fortunes: Beneficiary designations override your will. Update them after divorce, marriage, births, and deaths. Never name minor children directly—use a trust instead.

The Financial House Framework: Build in order: Foundation (protection), Walls (systematic wealth building), Roof (tax efficiency and legacy planning). Skip a level and the whole structure becomes unstable.
